I'm glad you decided to check out our church. One of the things that has me so excited about our mission is bringing people together in our community and seeing lives changed. I believe that this city needs to see the love of Jesus from people of all backgrounds and I hope that's your passion too. I look forward to connecting with you as we serve the city of Elkhart.

We love our kids and students here at Elkhart Community Church. We offer services for our kids during all of our Sunday gatherings and our students meet on Sunday nights at 6 PM.

In Daniel chapter 6, the kingdom of Babylon had fallen to the Persians and Medes. King Darius divided the kingdom into 120 provinces and put Daniel and two others over the kingdom. At 80 years old Daniel still proved to be very capable, wise, and trustworthy and this ability caused Darius to promote Daniel even further. The others hated Daniel’s promotion and hatched a scheme to have Daniel thrown into the lion’s den. What these men didnt know, however, is that Heaven Rules. God was on Daniel’s side, and even though Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den, his dedication to his God, his powerful prayer life, and his faith were the reasons God sent an angel to protect Him. Pride and the writing on the wall Nebuchadnezzar had one final dream from God. The Most High would humble the prideful, arrogant leader. God hates pride, and Nebuchadnezzar would learn that it was not him who grew his kingdom, it was God. Babylon was not in control, Heaven ruled. God caused the king to go mad and live like a wild animal until He honored the God of Heaven. Unfortunately, Nebuchadnezzar’s predecessor, Belshazzar, never honored the God of Heaven. The new king defied the God of heaven by defiling the sacred artifacts from the temple, and the hand of God wrote his death sentence on the wall. The dream reveals that even kingdoms and their history are ultimately under God’s control, and the only kingdom that will last is the Kingdom of God.
